I offer a variety of script editing and reading services.

Look, I also think most services and contests that say they’ll help writers are nonsense. They give you very little in return for the money you spend.

I’ve been there! I’ve spent that money! At the same time, not everyone has Hollywood friends who can read their scripts for free. And, well, few of us have Hollywood friends who are willing to add commas, help with jokes or change “an” to “a” during the draft process.

So, I put together packages and services I think writers would actually want. You saw my CV and bio on the other page. I’m really good at this and I love doing it.

Ashley Ray's Writing Resource Folder

I’ve been running this resource folder for 3 years! It has textbooks, outlines, plays, pitch deck samples and tons of old film and TV scripts. The goal of this folder is to give you writers access to tools that will help strengthen their writing. This folder is free with any script service package, but people have asked if they can purchase it separately, so here it is!

I’m constantly updating the folder with new materials. Most of the scripts and worksheets are publicly available, I just put them all in one place! Or they came from workshops and I was given permission to share. It’s been helpful to my writing practice to have scripts and textbooks available that I can read in my free time, maybe it’ll help you too!
